Brenda's Blooms

I tried a new technique, loosely based on a very popular "Bloom" style created by SheleeArt. I have held off trying it due to the toxicity of the fumes in the ingredients, as the base is house paint, and I've seen all sorts of shellacs and other things added. I just don't have the ventilation in the basement, and am super sensitive to the fumes, so had given it a miss.

But after watching several videos, I got to thinking that it isn't mandatory to follow the original recipe, so as those who know me will appreciate, I decided to veer off the path and try it my own way. 

The results are beautiful if I do say so myself. I also tried one on a black background that I think will dry very nicely. Once I get my new turntable working, I'll be spinning them out, and the "flowery" shapes will spread and bloom. Can't wait to try it!
