Commissioning a Painting - It's Easy!

I like art that makes me think, but I love art that makes me happy. I very much enjoy viewing representational art, but am happy to leave the creation of it to people who have the gift to do so. The interplay of light & colour in abstract art is what works for me.

I enjoy creating my abstract paintings. Sometime they come out exactly as I imagine them, and sometimes there are happy accidents. And tbh sometimes they just don't work out. Either way I enjoy the work I put into them, even if they end up getting painted over.

Creating commissioned art is better yet because it is a collaboration. You make some choices, I add my imagination and together we can create something really interesting, that is custom made for you.

How does it work?

1. You choose your favourite colours or colours that are complimentary to your room.

2. You choose the style of my work that appeals to you. See my separate posts for each different Techniques. Try to zoom in on them as the detail can be quite incredible. Which ones are you drawn to?

3. You decide what size you want to fill, whether on a wall, or somewhere else. One of my pieces is headed to a backyard oasis (for the summer only). A larger space can be filled with a 2 or 3 (or more!) painting in a series. And don't forget about small spaces that can use a dash of colour. My smallest works so far are 6 x 6 inches (15 x 15 cm).

Let's chat! Let me know if you'd like to chat about a commission, or purchase any of the available works pictured in my blog posts. And if it turns out it's not your thing, that is perfectly ok too.
